Britannia
Britannia isn’t just the biggest ship ever built exclusively for the British market – she’s the most glamorous too. At 143,000 tons and with 1,350 crew, your time onboard will be truly memorable.
Familes can expect comfy cabins with upper berths like bunk beds or sofa beds, hassle-free mealtimes, carefree days out and free age-specific children's clubs including Children's entertainment such as treasure hunts, crafts, sports tournaments and parties. Norwegian Fjords, 30 Apr 2017, 7 nights, full board – Britannia
Sailing through the Norwegian fjords is one of the great maritime experiences.
Your 7-night cruise leaves Southampton for the gateway to Norway's spectacularly scenic fjordland, Stavanger, which is regarded as the ‘Cradle of the Vikings’.
Your ship will dock right next to Gamle Stavanger, the old quarter, with its collection of 200-year-old white wooden houses (considered national heritage monuments) and a 12th century cathedral modeled on Winchester Cathedral.
Look out, too, for the Three Swords monument in the Hafrsfjord rock recalling the Viking sea battle won by King Harald the Fairhair to create Norway as one kingdom back in the 9th century.
Sailing through Sognefjord, the world's longest and deepest fjord, is one of the most memorable cruise experiences. Overlooked by snow-capped peaks and surrounded by cascading waterfalls, this is a sensational approach to the tiny village of Flåm, which nestles in the innermost part of Sognefjord.
Flåm also has the extraordinary Flåm Railway, a masterpiece of engineering, rising more than 2,845ft above sea level in just 12 miles and the views are just as dramatic as the journey.
Aurlandsfjord is one of the smaller fjords, and one of the most picturesque. It’s surrounded by steep-sided crystalline rock walls that rise up to 1,400m from the sea and extend deep below sea level.
Nordfjord, located in western Norway, is astonishingly beautiful and diverse. You’ll find peaceful valleys and well-kept farms, as well as gleaming glaciers, foaming waterfalls, and towering, snow-capped mountains. The mountains plunge from altitudes of a few thousand metres, straight down into the seawater.
It also flows past a lovely collection of picture-postcard coastal towns and villages on the way.

Barbados offers you a warm welcome to the Caribbean. Britannia awaits you, moored in the capital and cruise port, Bridgetown. Enjoy a day of water sports, stunning nature walks, or a trip to the magnificent Harrison’s Cave complex of caverns and waterfalls.
Luxuriate in a full day at sea before sailing over azure oceans, to explore the beautiful and diverse islands of Curacao, Aruba, Grenada and St Vincent.
