Fairmont Royal Pavilion, Barbados

March 31, 2016

Fairmont Royal Pavilion is set in 11 acres of tropical gardens on the famed west coast of Barbados. It is the only hotel on this beautiful half-mile crescent bay of golden sand.

All guest rooms overlook the Caribbean Sea, and  Oceanfront Deluxe rooms have unobstructed sea views from glass fronted balconies.  Guests staying in Junior Beachfront Suites receive fast track airport arrival, butler service and private decked terrace just steps from the ocean.

All guests receive complimentary Wi-fi plus complimentary afternoon tea and a number of other activities. These include non-motorised watersports, tennis, swimming or snorkeling with the Hawksbill and Leatherback turtles who live in the bay and nest on the beach. If you’re lucky you can see the baby turtles hatch.

The two restaurants and bars are also beachside.  Taboras provides great international and Caribbean cuisine, a relaxed atmosphere and breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea, serving an elaborate buffet breakfast, sumptuous lunch and a la carte dining with evening entertainment 6 nights weekly. Complimentary traditional English Afternoon Tea is also served at Taboras.  Palm Terrace Restaurant is open mainly in the high season.

Families with children of all ages are welcome from March to October and over the Festive Season.  Children over 10 years of age are permitted for the remainder of the year and interconnecting family rooms are guaranteed.

Also popular are family movie nights, beach cricket and the little ones enjoy traditional Bajan games, crafts and a treasure hunt.
