Pemba Island, Tanzania

Fundu Lagoon, Pemba Islands, Tanzania

Planning the perfect honeymoon is important, and we think the combination of African safari and beach is one of the best ways to celebrate the start of married life.

Your days will be filled with intrepid adventure in one of Africa’s last untouched areas before heading over to the gorgeous Pemba Island and the idyllic Indian Ocean.

Retreat to Ruaha National Park, devoid of throngs of tourists, to enjoy the romantic isolated atmosphere, feeling like the only two people in the world. One of Africa’s last genuine wildernesses, this park is alive with game and utterly awesome views. A rugged and harsh landscape, sprawling within and along the Great Rift Valley, Ruaha epitomises the definition of wild Africa.

Staying in one of Kigelia Ruaha’s six traditional safari tents, you will feel completely secluded with an exciting anticipation of the freedom to discover and explore the largest of Tanzania’s national parks.

Your three night stay in this charming camp puts you in great proximity to explore the plethora of wildlife gems in one of East Africa's most diverse wild places. Take day and night game drives, escorted bush walks and bush picnics across the different habitats, from the rocky hills to the dense bush to the open grasslands.
