First Look: Canaves Eden Villas, Santorini, Greece

Iconic architecture, delicious food and the glistening waters of the Aegean Sea.

The magical island of Santorini is best-known for its breathtaking sunsets and incredible vineyards but this fairytale destination is also home to Oia, possibly its most famous town. Imagine little lanes, small boutiques and those world-famous blue-topped roofs.

The story of Canaves Oia begins in 1985 when the Chaidemenos family were among the first families to introduce tourism to what was then the small fishing village of Oia.

It was then that Yiannis and Anna Chaidemenos transformed 17th-century caves, once used to store wine, into designer-chic luxury hotel rooms.

The birth of the Canaves Oia brand led to hotel’s all-white minimalistic concept, which redefined the meaning of luxury accommodation in Santorini.

Yiannis and Anna started with two caves and eventually expanded to 18 hotel rooms, becoming the ideal hideaway for romantic couples and newlyweds.

Introduced this June, the newest addition to the Canaves collection is Eden Villas. The three-villa complex is the perfect spot to relax and unwind in absolute privacy.

Located in the peaceful village of Imerovigli, twenty minutes south of Oia, all three villas are equipped with an outdoor plunge pool and offer spectacular unobstructed views of the volcano and Skaros Rock. All of which can be enjoyed from your own private hot tub with a glass of champagne.

The Villas are ideal for couples and families alike, but can also be booked as a whole seven-bedroom property for groups to enjoy a private and intimate space - a luxury hideaway, perfect to reconnect.

Whichever one you choose, all guests can enjoy the endless array of VIP amenities and services on offer, as well as a flat-screen TV, a kitchen with a dining area and an en-suite.

Due to the unique location of the cliffside property, all children must be aged 13 or over to ensure safety regulations are met. For more information, or to book a relaxing Santorini stay, get in touch.
