Kasbah Tamadot, Morocco

Situated in the spectacular Atlas Mountains in Morocco, the award-winning Kasbah Tamadot was bought by Sir Richard Branson during one of his famous ballooning expeditions.

Each of the 28 rooms and suites has been individually decorated to reflect the beautiful architecture of the building and features antiques from all over the world.

Morocco is served by direct flights from the UK, with flight times to Marrakech of between 3-4 hours, from where a short drive takes you to this mountain paradise.

Explore

Kasbah Tamadot has 28 bedrooms and suites including ten luxury Berber Tents, some of which have private plunge pools.

All are individually decorated using traditional Moroccan furnishings and antiques, as well as items from the vast collection of Luciano Tempo, Kasbah Tamadot's former owner.

As a renowned antiques dealer and interior designer, Luciano brought together artefacts from all over the world, many of which feature in the bedrooms.

Each room has a uniquely descriptive Berber name which tells you something about it.

The main building contains 15 original rooms and suites, an indoor pool, spa, a library, reflecting pool, restaurant and bar, roof terrace and main reception. Just off the main courtyard is the Asmoun Lounge.

Adjacent to the main building is the heated outdoor infinity pool, hot tub, amphitheatre, sundeck, gym, spa treatment room and a collection of fruit trees.

On the far side of the infinity pool from the main building is the 3-bedroom Master Suite. This miniature version of Kasbah Tamadot has a private pool and is ideal for families.

Continue exploring and you’ll find the gardens, tennis courts, mule shed and Berber Tents. There are 10 tents, six of which have private jacuzzis, and all have spacious decks and views over the valley and the mountains. You’re also invited to meet the resident camels, mules and donkeys.

All rooms and suites are furnished with plush bath robes, filtered bottles of water, docking stations for playing music, a selection of toiletries, slippers, sun hats, postcards with stamps and all the contents of your minibar which are also complimentary. Televisions with DVD players are available on request.
