We utilised our gift voucher, won at the Abbotts Travel Showcase in March 2017, for a night at The London Edition.
It was a great experience to visit a hotel with so many fascinating characteristics - not just the building but the staff and clientele too.
Although expensive, the breakfast was delicious. Our gift allowance was £52 for two. We chose a number of courses, which took us above our allowance but we happily paid the bill!
Aged 72 and 76, we found our stay, like many excursions into London, to be an eye opener to an ever-changing and diverse world - which may I add is for the better.
It was delightful to visit a place that we would not usually have chosen to stay at, but turned out to be a great memory in many ways.
