It started life as a restaurant. A very good one.
But this was not enough. La Minervetta had a cliff-top spot and a prestigious reputation, so it was transformed into a beautiful and intimate hotel.
The 12 individually designed guest rooms face the sea; some have balconies and some have floor-to-ceiling windows highlighting the sweeping panorama over the Bay of Naples.
With a sophisticated yet comfortable atmosphere, this property features a bar, a delightful guest-friendly kitchen, and a chic lounge area opening on to a terrace with sun loungers, umbrellas and large hot tub.
Breathtaking views and delicious breakfasts can be enjoyed on the terrace and, although evening dining isn’t available at the hotel, there’s a good selection of restaurants close-by down in Marina Grande which is reached by a series of steep steps.
There’s a beach 200m away. Due to the terrain and stepped areas around the hotel, it is unsuitable for those with mobility difficulties.
The Maison staff are happy to take care of all guest requests: transfer to and from all destinations, excursions, guided tours, car, scooter and boat rental, reservations for restaurants, sporting activities, laundry service, private beach, babysitter service, massage and beauty treatments.
There is private parking, plus air conditioning and heating as needed throughout the open season.
It's located just 500 metres from the town centre, close to shops, restaurants, the post office, and access to the historical centre.
The port is a 5-minute walk from the town centre, where hydrofoils and ferries depart all day long for Capri, Procida, Ischia, and Naples.
