Gorillas, Masai & Beach, Rwanda

Gorillas, Masai & Beach, Rwanda

Immerse yourself in the nature, culture and people of two African landmarks.

Christened 'The Land of a Thousand Hills', Rwanda is a delightful, compact and landlocked country in East Africa renowned for its beautiful scenery, charming people and extraordinary wildlife.

Rwanda has prospered since the end of its political problems, and today is a calm, stable destination where tourism is thriving and well managed. Rwanda's biggest draw are its gorillas. The bamboo forest of Parc National de Volcans houses over half of the world's mountain gorillas.

Mombasa - the largest city on the Kenyan coast - blends city excitement with beach relaxation. It has almost 500km of tranquil white beaches, golden sand dunes, warm aqua water and idyllic secluded islands.

Malindi is located just a few hours north of Mombasa, and offers complete relaxation combined with world-class scuba diving and outstanding international and local cuisine. Watamu, like Malindi, is a small beach village with a few small shops. The beaches are one of the main attractions and the coral reefs offer some of the best diving in Kenya.

This tour ensures you see them all. It is organised in partnership with the award-winning Somak, a top player in Kenya’s tourism industry. Their highly experienced staff, top of the range fleet of safari vehicles and amenities, including a lounge for visitors in transit, makes every moment memorable.

The tour gives you the chance to safari, trek amongst volcanoes and, of course, spend time with the gentle but endangered giant gorillas in a rainforest canopied by mahogany and ebony.
