Featured Experience: Crystal Cruises

We love cruising. All-inclusive, luxurious, voyages to destinations around the globe... Who wouldn’t be a fan? Not to mention, it’s the epitome of stress-free travel.

Emerging from their longest-ever makeovers, Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity feature spacious new suites and penthouses, more dining options, and enhanced service and space ratios among the loftiest in luxury travel.

For Crystal devotees, it’s more of what you loved before, only better.

For anyone new to Crystal, it’s what you would expect from the cruise line that has earned more World’s Best awards than any other.

As with everything Crystal pursues, a single goal remains: ensuring every guest feels at home upon the sea.

Dining

Crystal promises more dining experiences to tempt the most discerning palates, with the added luxury of menu enhancements at Prego and open seating too.

New venues aboard both ships will include Marketplace, a gorgeous social space for dining and conversation by day, turned Brazilian steakhouse — Churrascaria — by night; a contemporary Asian restaurant called Silk Kitchen & Bar; and a rebranded main dining room named Waterside, perfectly set to usher in “dine as you desire” open seating.

UMI UMA: Nobuyaki “Nobu” Matsuhisa’s only sea-going restaurants are found aboard Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity. These popular venues serving his acclaimed Japanese-Peruvian cuisine are taking on a new name that beautifully represents Crystal’s long-standing relationship with the famed Chef; umi uma is Japanese for seahorse, Crystal’s iconic logo.

Suites

Expansive and gorgeous, brand new butler-serviced suites and penthouses are aboard both ships.

Crystal Symphony’s Seabreeze Deck 9 will welcome two new suite categories — Seabreeze Penthouse Suites (SS) and Seabreeze Penthouses (SH) — each offering cutting-edge enhancements that herald things to come: large, luxury showers with body jets instead of bathtubs, and a unique entryway connecting two Seabreeze Penthouses to create a seamless accommodation for families and friends.

Aboard Crystal Serenity, on Deck 10, several staterooms will be converted to the ship’s spacious Penthouse (PH) and Penthouse Suite (PS) categories. With the conversion of standard staterooms to penthouses, guest capacity will be reduced aboard both ships: from 922 to 848 guests on Crystal Symphony, and on Crystal Serenity from 1,070 to 980 guests.

Top Deck

A favourite spot aboard both ships, Palm Court sparkles as the crown jewel; perfect for tea and socialising by day, and shimmering with live music and dancing by night. This top-deck forward lounge on Crystal Serenity has been completely redesigned with Crystal’s trademark elegance.

Stardust Supper Club

The Stardust Supper Club combines the impeccable culinary experience and style for which Crystal is known with the glamorous vibe found in dining concepts of a different era.

Set in Crystal Serenity’s Stardust Club, the supper club is offered on “Black Tie Optional” evenings of voyages.

Here you can enjoy a four-course menu of select Waterside favourites as you dine to performances by Crystal Serenity’s Show Band and featured vocalists.

In between performances, musicians will provide non-stop music throughout dinner, while the ship’s Ballroom Dance Quartet takes to the floor to perform a couple of spotlight dances including one during dessert and coffee service where guests can join in the dancing.

Yachts

Exploring the grand waterways of Europe, four new cutting-edge river yachts – Crystal Mahler, Crystal Bach, Crystal Ravel & Crystal Debussy, as well as the Grand Dame of the Danube, Crystal Mozart - offer guests the highest staff-to-guest ratio of all European river cruise lines; the largest suites of any European river vessel – all with butler service; outstanding Crystal six-star service from European-trained hotel staff and truly exceptional dining.

Crystal Yacht Cruises: Crystal Esprit, our elegantly appointed, 62-passenger yacht, features a shallow draft that allows it to visit secluded harbours, coves and islands that are simply not accessible to larger cruise ships.

New itineraries, excursions and activities – all designed with the yacht’s size in mind – enable you to maximise your engagement with the destination in ways not previously possible aboard a ship.

Guests can swim, snorkel, paddle-board and kayak directly from the onboard marina and even explore below the waves by taking a trip in our very own state-of-the-art submersible.

Crystal Esprit will spend her summers exploring the Adriatic with 7-night cruises between iconic Venice, spectacular Dubrovnik and historic Athens. Or in the winter months snorkel among colourful fish in the Seychelles, hike with a guide through the tropical nature reserves or relax on deck overlooking the crystal-clear waters with a cocktail in hand - the choice is yours.

Pushing the boundaries of luxury global exploration, Crystal presents Crystal Endeavor, the world’s most spacious luxury expedition yacht. Every intrepid adventure and cultural immersion is embraced by the richly-appointed spaces and onboard delights for which Crystal is known, as travellers will follow their boldest dreams to some of the most remote coastlines, peaks, glaciers and islands on earth.
