Our lovely clients Rosemary and Geoffrey recently swapped everyday life for a spring adventure through Chartres, and honestly, they made France look very good.
From Eurostar platforms and peaceful French streets to a dreamy hotel and countryside day trips, their April getaway was packed with the kind of moments that deserve far too many camera-roll photos (which thankfully they sent us!).
The Hotel That Won Them Over

Their base for the trip? The beautiful Grand Monarque hotel.
With everything booked and organised in advance by Julie, all they had to do was arrive, explore, and enjoy France at their own pace.
Giverny, Fontainebleau & French Daydreams
With car hire sorted and a fool-proof itinerary in hand, Rosemary and Geoffrey explored beyond Chartres too, including visits to Giverny and Fontainebleau.
Think spring flowers, long lunches, scenic drives and plenty of “this is SO French” moments.
