Lusso Canada event

Abbotts Travel were invited to join Lusso at a Canada-themed supplier showcase, workshop and dinner at Mulberry House Hotel, in Ongar, Essex. Gareth Hulmston and Kevin Gaddes from Lusso looked after our team members at the event. Gary Worthington, Canada Senior Product Manager and Zoe Savage-Morton, Responsible Tourism & Sustainability Manager, plus Canadian supplier partners also attended this fabulous event.

Rachel and Christine from Abbotts Travel broadened their extensive travel knowledge discussing Canada. Training with suppliers in speed dating style followed by a fun networking dinner. The following suppliers attended to share lots of Canada information: Tourism Nova Scotia, Rocky Mountaineer, Destination British Columbia, Air Canada, Destination Ontario, Destination Canada, Travel Alberta, Baillie Lodges, Tourism Whistler & Destination Vancouver, and Pursuit Collection.

For a limited time, due to the World Cup in Summer 2026 the Rocky Mountaineer will be travelling on their newest route, Passage to the Peaks, Jasper to Banff via Kamloops.

Breaking the journey between Lake Louise and Jasper you can stop off at Icefields Parkway on route for the day or stay over at the Glacier View Lodge.  Guided transfers are available for those who prefer not to self-drive.
