Architectural Legacy & Design

Originally founded in the 14th century, the monastery’s surroundings include the Gothic-era church and the impressive Santa Clara Aqueduct. In the 18th century, the convent was significantly rebuilt in the neoclassical style, marked by balanced proportions, symmetry, and monumental grandeur. Today, the imposing original façade, with its royal coat of arms and sculpture of Santa Clara, has been carefully preserved, while the interiors combine tradition with modern elegance.
